Procedure
Opening:Present the web quest on an LCD projector to guide students through once. Divide students into groups of three. Go around room to see that students have come up with a valid topic.
Development:Students are already familiar with how to write reports and the use of signal words, but show them the links on the process page to remind them of what is expected. After students are well into writing their report, remind them of the oral presentation and guide them into planning it out.
Closing:Have students present their reports during their oral presentations.

Ideas for extending the lesson:
The American Dream project, listed in my closing at http://www.internet-catalyst.org/projects/amproject/student.html would be an ideal extension for this project. Students can also do a search on the American Dream or on the 1920's
