2007: TTTC Welcomes New Board Members Bernie Dodge and John Ittelson
These two bring their rich and varied technology and educational experiences to TTTC and will add to the already considerable expertise we have on the Board. They especially bring an understanding of the important teacher training and professional development work extant in the state universities. Since restarting our operations, we have expanded from a two to a four-week program. Our strategic plan calls for an expansion to six weeks. Reaching this goal requires much effort and creativity, qualities that our new Board members possess in abundance.
Knowing and working with John and Bernie in the past has been my distinct privilege and pleasure. Bernie and his wife June have made many important contributions to the profession, including building the CUE organization. Bernie served on the Conference committee and continues to be a featured speaker up to and including this year’s CUE conference. His session on WebQuest will no doubt be packed. AND I am pleased to announce Bernie will be joining us this summer to teach a WebQuest class.
John and I go back at least…gasp…30 years. John authored training materials for IBM’s SRA subsidiary way back in the dark ages during the developmental years of educational technology. The project we worked on: a Basic programming manual. Well, it was the dark ages.
John, as Bernie, continues to be very involved in working with preparing teachers to deal with integrating technology into the curriculum, electronic portfolios, and distance learning, among other areas of interest.

Gentlemen, welcome! We look forward to working with you again.
