You are a ship owner, religious reformer or a wealthy tradesman living in the Colonies in the mid 17th century.  You want to promote the settlement of this new land, and you have decided that the best way to do this is to create a persuasive brochure that will entice people to want to move to the Colonies.

What were the economic and social conditions in England that drove people to emigrate to the Colonies?  Why were people willing to do whatever it took to get themselves to this new land?  Why were the climate, geography and social structure of the various regions important in determining which groups of people settled there?
