Where I've Been I
was born and raised in Southern CA. I live out in the middle of the desert,
and I love it! It has so much serene beauty! Here's some pics of "my backyard":
My Life as an Educator I am a teacher who gets bored easily, so I am always trying new things and making messes in my classroom. I have taught every age group from K-12. I used to be in Marketing; my BS is in Business. I am active in my local teachers association, and have organized our annual celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday. You can read about that here: Family Reading Rally 2000 When I'm Not Working... I like lots of things..the outdoors, reading, playing with my family, and of course, playing on the computer! I have five children: Brian, 20; Jeff, 17; Scott,12; Sean,10; and Jamie, 5. My wonderful, supportive, husband Terry teaches 5th grade with me. (Aren't I lucky?) My biggest achievement to date in my life was this summer when, at 40, I learned how to braid my daughter's hair after 20 years of raising boys!! I am working on a Masters in Ed Technology, and here is a site that I am working on being reviewed by Education World.
