Mrs. Veenderminer, a very wealthy and eccentric woman in her late eighties, has dedicated much of her life to the study of world history and culture . She wants people in the Western world to have a better understanding of non-Western cultures. She has decided to endow several art museums each with a gift of ten million dollars to design and create a gallery in their museum that features non-Western art. Her demands are simple. She merely requests that the gallery be designed around a theme (such as love, nature, struggle, peace) and that all art in the collection originate in the same geographic region of the world. Art in the collection does not need to be from a specific period of time. In fact, she personally enjoys an eclectic approach to art.
You are a member of a museum task force. Your
group's goal is to present a proposal to Mrs. Veenderminer and her committee
that will guarantee that your museum receive one of her endowments. Your
group will be competing with other museums who also wish to be endowed.
Your group will create a multimedia presentation and present to Mrs. Veenderminer
